Vijay Menon is a Bangalore based marketing and communication consultant with 30 years' experience across technology, media, and marketing. He began his career as a nuclear engineer and worked as an analyst and journalist with Business Line and India Today before moving to the IT industry in marketing, communication, and investor relations roles. He was most recently vice president of marketing at Infosys BPO and QuEST

Vijay has written for Ramco Systems, SSI, Polaris Software, Infosys BPO, QuEST, Aequs, Netmagic and others in India, and for IBM, Intel, Microsoft, Accelrys, VMware, QLogic, Adaptive Computing and others in the US (on subcontract). His portfolio includes marketing collateral, white papers, newsletters, earnings releases, annual reports, CEO speeches, media articles, blog posts, and more. Vijay was also an invited contributor to Corporate Communication - a 21st Century Primer, Response Books, 2004.


Vijay is the author of The Kalpakkam Septet, a collection of short stories, and is looking for funding to research and develop two non-fiction book ideas -- one on the Malabar region in Kerala, and the other on the software industry in India.
